Teamleader Focus has no phone of its own, but its contact and company pages already show each number as a tel: link. Set the app that opens tel: links on your computer, or add a button that sends tel:, callto: or sip: to your softphone, or opens Microsoft Teams or Zoom Phone. For incoming calls in the browser, Teamleader points to VoIP integrations in its Marketplace.
| What you need | What it costs you | Good fit when | |
|---|---|---|---|
| A VoIP integration from the Teamleader Marketplace | A phone provider with a Teamleader integration, such as Allocloud, Duocom, Voys, Xelion or Voxloud | A subscription with that provider | You want click to dial and incoming calls in your browser, and your provider is on Teamleader’s list (or you are ready to switch) |
| Teamleader’s own tel: links | An app on your computer that opens tel: links, set in Windows or macOS | Nothing extra | Your softphone or mobile listens to tel: and you only need to call |
| CallerPlugins buttons | Chrome and CallerPlugins for Teamleader Focus | Your own call costs. The buttons are free for 10 uses per tool per month, or 100 for your team with a confirmed company email | Your app needs callto: or sip:, you call with Teams on the web, or you want each click saved in Teamleader (Pro) |

Start by adding CallerPlugins for Teamleader Focus to Chrome and confirming your work email. Then pick the setup that matches the phone your team calls with.

Teamleader Focus shows the numbers on a contact or company as tel: links. A click hands the number to whichever app your computer uses for tel:.
Good when your softphone wants a different link type, or when tel: already goes to another app you want to keep.
Good when your company already calls with Teams Phone or Zoom Phone. Teams also works in a browser tab; Zoom Phone needs the Zoom Workplace desktop app.
More about the link types (tel:, callto:, sip:) is on the softphone page; the Teams settings are on the Microsoft Teams page.
That Teamleader shows numbers as tel: links, and where the buttons appear, comes from our own Teamleader Focus account, read on 14 October 2026; contact and company lists get no buttons. The link each setting sends and how Pro saves a click come from the extension’s and server’s code. The VoIP integrations and the Add call steps come from Teamleader’s help centre, the 3CX fact from a 3CX staff answer in its forum, checked on the date below. We have not tested every softphone, and menu names in Windows and Teamleader can change.

Not with a phone of its own. Numbers on contacts and companies are tel: links, so your computer’s calling app opens them. For click to dial and taking calls in your browser, Teamleader points to VoIP integrations from phone providers such as Voys, Xelion and Allocloud.
Windows sends tel: links to one app only. Open Settings → Apps → Default apps, search for TEL and pick the app you want. Or keep that app and use the softphone button with callto: or sip:, so each app gets its own button.
No. CallerPlugins is a Chrome extension for focus.teamleader.eu on your computer, and it has no mobile app. On a phone, the Teamleader app and your phone’s own dialler handle calls.
Teamleader’s tel: links are free. The CallerPlugins buttons are free for 10 uses per tool per month, or 100 for your team once you confirm a company email. Pro costs €4.99 per user per tool a month (excl. VAT), or less billed yearly, and saves each click in Teamleader. Your calls are billed by your own phone provider.
