TimelinesAI is a shared WhatsApp inbox: it links your numbers to its servers and copies every chat into your CRM. CallerPlugins does something smaller. It adds a button next to each phone number in your CRM that opens a chat in your own WhatsApp app, and it is free for 100 clicks per tool per month for your company.
your team shares one WhatsApp number, managers need to read every conversation inside the CRM, or you send campaigns and automated replies. CallerPlugins doesn’t do any of that.
each salesperson chats from their own WhatsApp account and you mainly want to stop copying numbers out of the CRM. You also get Microsoft Teams, Zoom Phone, softphone, Viber, Telegram and Signal buttons in the same row.

We built CallerPlugins and test every release in our own Pipedrive, HubSpot and Teamleader Focus accounts and on the public Odoo demo, so the CallerPlugins column describes what the extension really does. We have not run a paid TimelinesAI account; that column comes from TimelinesAI’s own public pages, checked on the date above.

No. If you need a shared inbox, chat history in the CRM, campaigns or AI replies, TimelinesAI or your CRM’s own WhatsApp Business integration is the better fit. CallerPlugins only starts the chat or call.
No. The extension never connects to your WhatsApp account. It builds a chat link from the phone number on the page and hands it to WhatsApp on your computer.
Yes. You can keep TimelinesAI on a shared support number and give salespeople CallerPlugins for their own chats and calls. The extension doesn’t touch the numbers TimelinesAI has connected.
It does much less. There is no server that stores or syncs your chats, so there is little to run. Pro adds activity logging in the CRM per click.
