WhatsApp follow-up templates for after a quote

Send a short, personal WhatsApp one or two working days after the quote, refer to it by name and ask one easy question. Below are ten messages for four moments, written so CallerPlugins can fill in the contact’s first name and company from your CRM.

When to send which message

Right after you send the quote

Short and friendly

Hi [name], I just emailed you the quote for [company]. Shout if anything is unclear, happy to walk you through it.

With a next step

Hi [name], the quote is in your inbox. Would a 10-minute call on Thursday help to go through it together?

After one or two working days

Checking it arrived

Hi [name], did the quote come through all right? Sometimes our emails end up in spam.

Pipedrive: name the deal

Hi [name], following up on the quote for [deal]. Any questions I can answer before you decide?

One easy question

Hi [name], quick question about the quote: does the scope match what you had in mind, or should I adjust something?

After a week, or when they mention price

Open the objection

Thanks for being straight with me, [name]. Which part feels too much: the total, the monthly amount or the timing?

A real deadline

Hi [name], a heads-up: the prices in the quote for [company] are valid until Friday. Want me to hold them a bit longer?

Offer a smaller start

Hi [name], an idea: we could start with a smaller first phase for [company] and add the rest later. Shall I send that version?

The last follow-up

Make “no” easy

Hi [name], I haven’t heard back, so I guess the timing isn’t right. Is it OK if I close the quote for now? A short “yes” is fine.

Leave the door open

Hi [name], I won’t keep messaging you about the quote. If things change at [company], just reply here and we’ll pick it up.

What the fields in brackets become

[deal]The deal title. Pipedrive only; in the other CRMs it stays empty.
[any label]In Pipedrive, any field label you can see on the page, such as [owner] or a custom field.

What not to do

Put these templates behind your WhatsApp button

  1. Install CallerPlugins for your CRM and confirm your email. Templates are saved with your account, so you need that step.
  2. Click the extension icon, find Message templates and click + New. Name the template, for example “Quote follow-up”, paste the text and save.
  3. On a contact page, click the WhatsApp button. A small menu lists your templates with the contact’s details already filled in. Pick one and WhatsApp opens with that text.

The WhatsApp button works in every CRM below. It is free for 10 clicks per tool per month, or 100 shared by your team once you confirm a company email. If you need every reply stored in the CRM instead, read our comparison with TimelinesAI.

Follow-up templates: questions

Are templates free?

Yes. Your own templates are free for everyone. Team templates that everyone in the company shares, and rules that pick a template for you, are part of Pro.

Do these templates need Meta approval?

No. They are normal chat messages you send from your own WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app. Meta approval only applies to template messages sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform (the API).

Do templates work with Telegram, Viber and Signal?

Yes. Telegram gets the text filled in. Viber and Signal links can’t carry text, so the extension copies it to your clipboard to paste.

Can I write templates in another language?

Yes. The text is yours; only the parts in brackets are replaced. Field names stay in English, so write [name], not [naam].
